There is a quote that was shared recently. “The most successful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths.  These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, passion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern and purpose.  Successful people do not just happen.”  This quote has been a driving inspiration in the forming of DeVane & Associates Hospitality Group.  We are a group born in oft adverse conditions. Though unpopular to recognize or own and respond to the call of accountability in the vision line of failure, as a leader I can say that these characteristics have been a part of the professional truth that now has formed this brand.  Honest examination allows for a critical and editing awareness when receiving the gift of feedback.  The presence of the feedback is truly the gift.  It is the permission necessary to spark and implement change, it is the demonstration of hope, and confidence in the ability to achieve the expectation.  Without a dialogue there would be no chance for improvement.  DeVane & Associates Hospitality Group is a company with core values which compels the review of current business practices and tests those practices against overall best practices.  It is the fundamental strive to create and sustain services which evolve and grow.  We promise to be a brand associated with high performance.

A rich history

Garland DeVane, brings over twenty years of client focused experience to the organization.  He was most recently employed with J. Hinsley and Associates, in the capacity of Director of Concierge Services.  J. Hinsley and Associates was founded in 1992 with operations in Pittsburg, Denver, Miami, and Boston.  In 2000, the company centralized the entire operation and concentrated its resources in Boston, MA.  This guaranteed their commitment to excel in one locale and strongly deliver everything their clients needed directly. In February of 2005, Garland joined the team of J. Hinsley and Associates and was the creative mind governing, corporate branding and intellectual properties, development of the hospitality discipline, adding to the portfolio Hinsley Concierge.  This allowed J. Hinsley and Associates the opportunity to expand the company’s offerings to a broader range of clients and change the demographics of service from a mono-dimensional platform.

We approach business from an operational level and hold the ideal of building a reputation instead of a portfolio of hours. The continued current market trend in luxury residential property development in our city, the expanding commercial service experience expectations, and the enhanced benefit of integrated technologies, has produced increased demand in the marketplace.  This demand has direct ratios to the service needs of unique, dual disciplined companies like DeVane & Associates Hospitality Group.  We seek to provide our clients with an exemplary personal service, and level of recognition that separates them in the marketplace.  These are promises which cannot be found at our larger, more impersonal competitors.  Our client base needs to know that they can develop relationships with our associates that will ensure efficiency, value, and reliability in supplying them with the support they need, when they need it. We have certifications among city and state level agency as a Hospitality Service provider and will gain licensing as a Patrol Guard Service Company in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 


Growing

DeVane & Associates Hospitality Group will adopt a controlled growth model.  Our business strategy will project procuring approximately two to three clients per year depending on the nature of each venture. This ensures that resources are never spread thin and the company's growth never exceeds the management's capability.
